How to make Matcha Tea & Latte

Matcha Latte:

  1. Measure Matcha: Add 1 teaspoon of matcha powder to a cup.
  2. Pour Water: Pour hot water (175°F/70-80°C) into the cup, filling it about halfway.
  3. Whisk: Use a whisk in W or zigzag shape to mix the matcha (not stiring) & water until smooth & frothy.
  4. Steam/Froth Milk: Heat milk or milk alternative until warm & frothy.
  5. Combine: Pour the milk into the cup with the matcha mixture. Another option is to add cold milk or iced into the drink to enjoy cold version.
  6. Sweeten (Optional): Add sweetener, vanilla syrup, fruit puree as you like.
  7. Stir & Serve: Mix well & enjoy.

Matcha Tea:

  1. Measure Matcha: Add 1/4 teaspoon of matcha powder to a cup.
  2. Pour Water: Pour hot water (175°F/70-80°C) into the cup, filling it about halfway.
  3. Whisk: Use a whisk to mix the matcha and water until smooth and frothy.
  4. Top Up: Fill the rest of the cup with hot water.
  5. Enjoy: suggest not to sit matcha tea for too long because matcha powder will sit at the bottom, taste & color will also fade away.
